Public or Semi -Public Open Space and Recreational <br />Areas <br />There are no publicly held open and recreational spaces <br />within Gem Lake at this time. The only recreational facility <br />within the City is a private golf course. It is the desire of the <br />City to have the golf course property remain recreational in <br />nature. Although there are recreational facilities in adjacent <br />communities and in nearby regional recreational facilities, <br />there may be a need in the future for small neighborhood <br />"parks" within Gem Lake. <br />City of Gem Lake Comprehensive Plan I page 4-6 <br />
