D. Clerk reported that the necessary bondsfor village officers had been acquired at atotal cost of 468.25 E. Clerk reported that the League of Minnesota Municipalities had offered a special membership rate for 8 mothns of 1960 at $25.00 ( the regular annual dues are $50.GO per year ) Arcand moved and Gray seconded that we take advantage of this offer. all ayes. F. Clerk reported that a letter had been received from the Machine Accounting Office of Ramsey County asking us what we are going to do about zoning classifications. According to the League of Minn. Municipalities a new village operates under the old township zoning code until it desires to make changes of its own. Much discussion. Hansen moved and Gray seconded that the `dhite Bear Township code under which we are now operating be amended at this time to restrict residential lots to an area of 20,000 (twenty thoudand ) square feet. all,ayes. Moved by Gray and secoded by Morgan that Allen Hansen be appointed chairman of a planning committee, to consist of three mebers beside himself, to study the zoning and planning problem and report hack to the council. all ayes. 7.
