I SEVENTY-FOUWTH MEETING - VILLAGE OF GEM LAKE COUNCIL OCTOBER 19th 1965 - HOFFM1XNS CORNERS HALL 1. THE MAYOR CALLED THE MEETING TO ORDER AT 9:30 PM. 2. THE CLERK CALLED THE ROLL - PRESENT - H. Hoffman, Hansen, Arcand, Gray and Morgan ABSENT - Dave Hoffman. 3. JOHN GRAY READ THE MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 21st 1965 ( to help Morgan) Hansen moved and Arcand seconded that the same be approved as reQd. All eVes. 4. PRESENTATIONS FROM THE FLOOR - None 5. REPORTS OF COMMITTEES - a. Bemis report on sign problem not available - matter xk tabled. 6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS - a. The question of sewers was discussed at considerable length. It seems obvious that a solution to this problem must be found, but how soon and at what cost we have yet to learn. 7. NEW BUSINESS - a. The Mayor advises that the Hanes dump is now on an individual basis - no village charge. b. Arcand moved and Gray seconded that the times for the C� Village elction on Nov. 2nd be from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. All aye: c. Arcand moved and Hansen seconded that the "On Sales" and "Off -Sale " liquor licenses for Art Birkela.nd and Earl LaBore be renewed for 1966. All ayes. 8. REPORTS OF VILLAGE OFFICERS - a. The clerk reported that some progress is being made with the Village of North Oaks in respect to the Municipal Court. North Oaks feels that Gem Lake must be prepared to see that our participation does not cost them anything and that either party mut be able to retire from the agreement without penalty. N.O.
