SEVENTY - FIFTH MEETING - VILLAGE OF GEM LAKE COUNCIL <br />NOti-EMBER 16th 1965 - HOFFMANS CORNERS HALL <br />1, THE MAYOR CALLED THE MEETING TO ORDER 1.T 8:30 PNI. <br />2. THE CLERK CALLED THE ROLL - <br />PREEPTT - H. Hoffman, A. Hansen, R. Arcand, J. Gray. <br />ABS, - D. Hoffman and John Morgan <br />3. MOVED BY ARCAND AND SECONDED BY HANSEN THAT THE READING OF <br />THE I`•'INIiTES CF THE PREVIOUS MEETING BE AND HEI;F.BY ARE <br />DISPNESED WITH. All Byes. <br />ll.. PRESENTATIOl.S FROM THE FLOOR - <br />a. Mrs. Heath has a house trailer located on Goose Lake <br />Road mod- Tessier Road, and she requests to be allowed <br />to live in the trailer while building a house. It was <br />moved by Arcand and seconded by Hansen that Mrs. HeatJ4 <br />be permitted to live in the house trailer for a period <br />of six months from this date and that an extension be <br />considered at that time if her house has rot been completed. <br />All ayes. <br />5. REPORTS OF COMMITTEES - None <br />6. UhFIBEEHED BUSINESS - None <br />7. NEW BUSINESS - <br />` a. Earl LaBcre desires to sell his liquor store operation <br />to one David A. Schaller and Schallerls name has been <br />submitted to the Sheriffs office and passed. <br />It was moved by Hoffman and seconded by Hanserm that the <br />transfer of the "Off -Sale" liquor licensed from Earl Labore <br />to David A. Schaller be and hereby is approved. <br />b. Hansen moved and Arcand seconded that Christmas tree <br />licenses be granted to White Bear Floral Shop and Clarence <br />R. Wild. <br />8. REPORTS OF VILLAGE OFFICERS - <br />a. Treasurer's report - <br />In the absence of the Treasurer the Clerk reports that the <br />balance as of this date was Y3,217.98 ( excluding )$2,000 <br />in savings certificates). <br />Bills authorized: <br />City Treasurer - November Fire #523 4, 75.00 <br />Bell Tel Co - November service 524 11.65 <br />White Bear Press - ballots 523k 5 15.50 <br />Mrs. John H. Daniels - judge 52:9 6 10.32 <br />Mrs. Chas. J. Schifsky it 52-6x7 10.32 <br />Miss Eileen Bigelow if 52$ 8 10.32 <br />Mrs. Stan Donnely it 5,39 3.75 <br />9.
