FIFTY-FIFTH MEETING - VILLAGE OF GEM LAKE COUNCIL MARCH 17th , 1964 - HOFFM.ANS CORNERS HALL 1. THE MAYOR CALLED THE MEETING TO ORDER AT 8:24 PM 2. The CLERK CALLED THE ROLL - PRESENT - H. Hoffman, Arcand, Gray, Morgan and Dave Roffman ABSENT$ - Allen Hansen. No visitors. 3. THE CLERK READ THE MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 18th, 1964, Arcand moved and Gray seconded that the same be approved as read. All ayes. 4. PRESENTATIONS FROM THE FLOOR - none. 5. REPORTS OF COi-241ITTEES - a. The clerk read a report from Bemis of the Planning Committee recommending the grant of a "special use permit" to Gilbert �2 C. Foster for his golf course. Moved by Gray and seconded by J Arcand that said recommendation be approved by the commit1im with one copy sent to Foster and one copy appended to th6se minutes. All ayes. 6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS - a. The clerk read to the council a presentation of Ordinances #10 and #11 covering the White Bear City Building Code of i 1958 and the White Bear Township fmda Electical Code of 1961 with the recommendation that the same be approved by the council and published. Moved by Gray and seconded by Arcand that the same be approved and published. Al]. ayes. 7. NB'W BUSINESS - Moved by Arcand and seconded by Gray that the following be appointed health officers for 1964 - Dr. Robt. C. Reiff, Henry L. Hoffman and David Hoffman. All ayes. b. Moved by Gray and seconded by Arcand that the permit granted to Clarence Wild to move a house into the village be and herby is confirmed.All ayes. 8. REPORTS OF VILLAGE OFFICERS - a. The clerk reported that he had written to the Mayor of North Aaks Village with regard to using their Municppal Court. b. Treasurer's report - Previous balance 29792,35 Receipts 673.85 Total 1, 466-20 Disbursements 62 .Z Current Balance 2, 6 c. Moved by Arcand and seconded by Hoffman that the clerk is hereby authorized to procure a typewriter for the village. All ayes. d. Bill=s authorized were - (see over)-
