EIGHTY-FOURTH MEET(DNr -VILLAGE OF GEM LkKE COUNCIL JULY 19th, 1966 - HO.1q'FMANS CORNERS HhLL 1. THE MAYOR CALLED THE MEETING TO ORDER AT 8:25 FYI. 2. PRESENT - Henry Hoffman, Richard Arcand, John Gray and John Ward. ABSENT - L�. ten, Hanson and John Morgan 3. GRAY MOVED AND ARCAND SECONDED THAT THE YfINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEF`t'ING HRLD JUNE 21st 1966 BE AND HEREBY ARE DOSPENSED WITH :r ALL AYES. PRESENTATIONS FROM THE FLOOR - a. The Mayor pr4sented to the Council a letter addressed to him from Allen R. Hanson stating his desire to resign from the Council for personal reasons. Arcand moved and Gray seconded that this resignation be accepted with the greatest regret and with many thanks to Allen Hanson for his years of service to the Village. ALL AYES. The council decided that the matter of filling this vacancy should be podponed until the next regular meeting. 5. REPORTS OF COMMITTEES - none 6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS * a. He request by Mr. Stockstead of the MDF Development Company of 2954 North Rice Street for a "Spedial Use Permit" for a gasoline service station on the property legally described as Lots 5 & 6,Auditors Subdivision ,�84 ( S.E. Corner of E. County Rd E and Hoffman Rd ) Mayor Hoffman reported that Mr. Francis Butler, attorney, recommended that such a "special use permit" be granted, as had the Planning Committee. Moved by Henry Hoffman and seconded by Richard Arcand that a "Special Use Permit" be granted to the MDF Development Company to construct a gasoline service station on the property legally kxzxxxxx described as Lots 5& 6 , Auditors Subdivision #84, in the Village of Gem Lake in Ramsey County, State of Minnesota. This "Special Use permit"is granted under the authority of Gem Lake Village Ordinance #5 published March 14th 1963, in sections 3.2(49) # Use -Special" and sections 12.3(2) special uses - motor service station and is subject to all the other regulations in kx*1mwmxx # xzxd Zoning Ordinance #5 and Subdivision Ordinance #8 both of the Vtllage of Gem Lake. All ayes. 7. NEW BUSINESS - a. Henry Hoffman reuqested permission to move a house - Moved by John Gray and Seconded by Arcand that said permission be U granted,, All ayes. 8. REPORTS OF VILLAGE OFFICERS - r% a. Report of Mayor on easements - none yet- b. Treasurers report - current balance �� 531.47 Billas authorized - City Treasurer - July fire - #577 75.00 9.
