December 12, 2025 <br /> <br />Dear Resident, <br /> <br />The City of Gem Lake, Minnesota, Planning Commission will be holding a public hearing on <br />Tuesday, January 6, at 7:00 pm. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the following <br />application submitted by Tanner Berris of Superior Molecular on behalf of property owner, White <br />Bear Floral, for property at 3550 Hoffman Road (Parcel ID 343022120052). The application is for <br />a Conditional Use Permit to allow for cannabis cultivation under a microbusiness license . <br />The City’s Consolidated Land Use Ordinance requires a public hearing for all Conditional Use <br />Permits applications. You are being notified of this hearing because your property is within 350 <br />feet of the applicant’s property, 3550 Hoffman Road (Parcel ID 343022120052). <br />You may attend the public hearing if you wish to provide comments or ask questions about the <br />proposed request. The meeting will be held at Heritage Hall (4200 Otter Lake Road). You may <br />also submit comments in writing (by letter or email) to Barbara Suciu, City Clerk, at 4200 Otter <br />Lake Road, Gem Lake, MN 55110 or barbara.suciu@gemlakemn.org prior to noon on the day of <br />the meeting. The Clerk will provide all comments received to the Planning Commission. A copy of <br />the staff report and application materials will be available for review prior to the meeting.
