Workshop 2: Exploring Redevelopment Scenarios - The Block Exercise. (opportunity <br />sites at the. eastern.section of County Rd E — White Sear Lake focus) <br />Identify opportunity sites in the: eastern portion of the. corridor for the block exercise. <br />The workshop will review the values articulated in Workshop I; and inyite.participants::to <br />create their own development scenarios: for the designated sites. Tables with aerial <br />maps will be set up for the .block exercise to explore a range. of development scenarios <br />for the three sites. The.developrnent.scenarios will be assessed by a financial tool to <br />determine its financial viability. The results of each scenario are reported back to the <br />table, which informs the next development scenarios: The block exercise provides an <br />opportunity for people to explore options%and alternatives within a fra.mewo.rk of city <br />goals, community values, and market feasibility. The panel discussion allows participants to. benefit from. the insights <br />of other cities and development experts, understand the challenges and.opportunkies, <br />a..nd what. it would take to advance preferred.aptions that have community support. <br />Workshop 5: Review Draft Recommendations <br />Based on the input gathered. in .the previous workshops, ad raft document including land <br />use and road improvement recommendations is reviewed and revised by the <br />participants.
