I have also seen his. dedication and leadership as 1 am <br />the advisor to ourLink Crew Program here at Hill -Murray. Ile has an outgoing. spirit and a <br />anagnetic personality. He is a natural-born leader and determirte:d to always try his hest. Having. <br />him in my Religion class; I was able to see firsthand his enthusiasm to learn, and his friendly <br />pciw. nality. <br />While a.studew at Hill -Murray School, Owen has always.wdrked hard and has chaliengeii <br />himself .academically. He.is able to balance a solid OPA, many extracurricular. activities, <br />volunteer eitpe3riences, as well as his friends. He is an active participant in class discussions and <br />:asks very Ihogghtful and provoking questions. He is a pleasure for any teacher to encounter <br />because he listens and actively engages during class. He takes direction well, has overcome <br />adversity; and is very disciplined .towards accomplishing his goals. Owen is also extremely <br />%villing*to help out alverwho tiiight have bmwbehind or missed something. Iie niakes his <br />classmates feel comfortable and brings optimism and enjoyment to any class. <br />Owen also excels in ex tracui-ricular.activities. I have witnessed his strong. leadership in our <br />C.A.R.E. (Caring and Respo:isive Empowerment) Program, where students. run activities for the <br />school promoting healthy life choices. He has a strong dedication to-ouir DE, CA program, in <br />Which he qualifted fQr State last year. [le is involved in our Aquaponics Club and HM Investors <br />Club. I have been lucky enough to be his advisor for the Link Crew Prt►gratri, a group of Juniors. <br />-artd,Seniors, that help run and organize Freshmen orientation. He, is a welcoming face for those <br />incoming freshmen, and I have seen him promote his love of Bill -Murray: Owen has a charming <br />And captivating personality that -shines bright in all that he; does, espoeially as a leader for our <br />school.
