Application from Hy-Vee.to redevelop the SE corner of Highway 61 and Ramsey County Road E. 2. Application from Honey Bear Meadery for the development of a mead...pub:at 159.5 County Road E. 3. App!ication for a CUP for a residential garage addition at.3812 Schueneman. Rd, Gem Lake, MN 55110 Planning; ,Commissioners Present; Benjamin Johnson, Art Pratt; Derek Wippich Members of the community Present: John and Darlene Birkeland, Josh Eckton, Paul Emeott, Phil Hoey, Laurel Amlee, Pete Oswald, Craig and Kathy Rafferty, Karl Stuemke, Don and Sheila Waldoch. Notes The Planning Commissioners reviewed and approved the Meeting Minutes for August, 2018 (see attached), held public hearings for applications from Hy-Vee and Honey Bear Meadery and heard comments from Gem Lake City PI0nher Tom Riedese1, the applicants and members of the community. The Planning.Commissioners discussed the projects and made the following recommendations; L Application from Hy-Vee to redevelop the SE corner of Highway fil.and Ramsey County Road E. Tile Planning Commission recommends the Ny-Vee application be approved by the City Council, provided the applicant meet those conditions identified.as 'actions' 1-11, on pages 7-9 of the application review Memorandum. from City Planner Tom Riedesel to the City of Gem Lake Planning Commission dated June 27, 2.018 and updated August 1 and August 21, 2018. See attached.. 2. Application frorn Honey Bear Meaderyfor the development of a mead pub at.159.5 County Road. E. The Planning Commission recommends that Honey Bear Meadery application approved by the City Council, provided the applicant satisfactorily responds to those comments outlined in the Memorandum regarding the applicant's Sketch Plan Review from the City Building Official, Mike Johnson, dated August 14, 2018, and provided the applicant meet those conditions. identified as `.actions' 172 on page 3 of the application review Memorandum from City Planner Torn Riedesel to the City of Gem Lake Planning Commission dated June 25, 2018. Following a
