EXHIBIT A <br />1.1 "Recyclable Materials" are. used. and/or discarded materials that are capable of successful <br />'processing and. sale on the commodity market.. <br />1.2 "Acceptable Material" means the materials listed.in Section 8.be1Qw. <br />1.3 -"Unacceptable Material" means the materials listed.in.Section.9.below. All Recyclable Materials <br />-collected -fpr.delivery and sale by Company shall be hauled to a processing facility selected by <br />.Company-fQ .processing ("Recycling Services"). <br />2. Ci 's D City shall make a coriiinercially reasonable effort toeducate its Residents regarding Acceptable and <br />Unacceptable Materials and to encourage its Residents to 'place only Acceptable Materials in their recycling <br />containers. <br />3.. Collection. City shall pay Compagthe.rates set outin.the. Section forth.e collection of Recyclable Materials -from <br />Residential Units .and assumes that, on average, City's Recyclable Material consists of no more thari l-5016 <br />Unacceptable .Material. <br />Every Other Week Recycling. This program will `include:an application process, the.City reviews and sends. the <br />approved applications to :Republic Services Municipal Manager and the service will beprovided <br />*atno additional cost: <br />3.;2 Additional Recyeling.Cart. Residents may elect to order a second recycling cart, should their <br />material exceed the 95-G- 44on Cartat:tto additional monthly fee. Residents am -limited tq two <br />recycling carts. Residents ore allowed to place extra cardboard next to t1w. recycling cart. <br />Cardboard may not exceed 3'x3°rand must be'.bound with twine or tape. <br />3.3 Can Exchanges. Residents -are allowed one recycling cart exchange annually at no costa All subsequent <br />exchanges will be chargedd-a raze of $25/cart. <br />3,4 Location 4f Contai ners (carts) for Collection. Each container containing Recycliog-Material shall <br />.be placed at curbside for collection. Curbside.. refers to that portioix of right-of-way adjacent to <br />paved or traveled C-Ity-roadways. Recycling material must be -placed i 916 container with closed <br />lid for collection. When construction work is being. performed in. the fight-4-way, containers <br />shall be vIaced as close: as practicable to an access point for the collection' vehicle; Company may <br />decline to collect am container, not so placed:or any Recycling Material not in a container. <br />3.5 Ht).urs of Collection.Qperations. Collection of Recyclable .Material shall not start before 7:00* <br />A.M. or continue after 6:00 P.M.
