J. <br />SEH <br />Future City of Gem lake Land Use thru 2040 <br />In order to guide use in subsequent decades, the City of Gem Lake. has prepared a future <br />land use. plan. The plan brings together goals, policies, and recommendations for future <br />land use, and is intended to assist with decision making on a going -forward basis. <br />Acreages for future land uses within Gem:Lake. are identified in Table 5.3 -FgWe Land <br />Use Acreage Breakdown -Although Gem Lake covers a total. of 725 acres, only:653.6 is <br />reflected is the table below. "Single Family Executive" land uses are found primarily in the <br />southwest and north.central portions of the City. Ille—minimum density is 1.1ot per 3 <br />acres and. the maximum density is I lot.per 4 acres,_ Sanitary sewer expansion is not <br />proposed in this area prior to 2040. The McNulty Development within this. district is <br />already served with sanitary sewer, and future developments will be.regnired to <br />cons'ider.sanitary.:sewer as part of the.review/approval process.
