17.4.7 Issuance of Variance. Following a decision by the City Council to approve or deny the application, the Zonng <br />Administrator: shall promptly no..tify the .applicantin writing of. the decision of the .City Council, said notice. considered <br />delivered upon deposit for delivery with the US.mail, <br />17A.8 Lapse of Variance. Any Variance issued shall lapse if not acted upon within ode (1) year of thedate.of issuance. <br />Section 1.7.5. Conditional and Interim Use Permits <br />17:5.A Purpose and Intent. The City Council may, by resolution, grant Conditional or Interim Use Permits for the uses <br />and purposes. described elsewhere in this .Ordinance as Conditional or Interim Uses and may, in the granting of such <br />Conditional or Interim Use Permits, impose conditions and safeguards which promote the guidelines set forth in the <br />Comprehensive Municipal Plan and which are. in harmony with the. general purpose and intent of this Ordinance. <br />17.5.2 Application..An application fo..r.a..Conditional or Interim Use 1 <br />City. Heights, When -reviewing Conditional Use .Permit applications which deal. exclusively <br />with residential:buiiding heights,.the matter shall be forwarded to the Gem. Lake Plan Review Commission who <br />shall, in a timely manner, review allsuch applications in accordance with criteria established and,.from time to <br />time, modified, by the Plan Review Commission. Upon completion of the review; The Plan Review. Commission <br />shall forward the application along with it's written recommendation to. the City Council for consideration and <br />approval or denial..at.it's next..regular meeting. No review by the Planning Commission as .required in Section <br />17.5.3 or.. Public Hearing as .required in Section 17.5.4 shall be required for this. Conditional Use unless <br />specifically ordered by the City Council. In.:all.such matters, the City Council. shallhe considered the Board. of: <br />Appeals. <br />17.5.3 Referral to Planning Commission. The matter. along with.all.related information shall be referred to: the Planning <br />Commission which shalll review the application(s). and hear the applicant or representative thereof at it's. first regular <br />meeting following receipt of complete applications).
