ORDINANCE NO.67 D. <br />AN ORDINANCE TO THE CITY:OF GEM LAKE MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING <br />SUBSURFACE SEWAGE TREATMENT SYSTEMS <br />The City Council of the City of Gem Lake approves the following additiari to the Gem <br />Lake Code of Ordinances. This ordinance replaces. Ordinance 67 Cin its entirety. <br />Sec. 1 . INTRODUCTION <br />This is an Ordinance authorizing and providing for sewage treatment and soil dispersal. in <br />unsewered areas of the City. It establishes: <br />I: Minirnuan:standards far and regulation of Individual Sewage Treatment Systems (ISTS) <br />and mid -sized Subsurface Sewage Treatment Systems (MSTS) (collectively referred to as SSTS) <br />in unsewered areas of the. City of Gem Lake incorporating by reference miniiriuin standards <br />established by Minnesota statutes and administrative rules of the Minnesota Pollution.
