CITY OF GEM LAKE, MN <br />4200 Otter Lake Road - - <br />Gem Lake, MN 55110-3227 <br />Telephone 651-747-2790 <br />E-mail Citv.r gemlakeMN.orty <br />Minutes of Gem Lake City Council Meeting <br />16 January, 2012 <br />Mayor Uzpen called the regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Gem Lake to order <br />on Tuesday, January 16, 2012 at 7:00 pm in the Gem Lake City Hall meeting room. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Robert Uzpen, Councilmembers James Lindner, <br />Gretchen Artig-Swomley, Richard Bosak and Thomas Rasmussen. Members of the public <br />attending per the sign in sheet sent around the room. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA AND MEETING MINUTES <br />City Council Agenda: Mayor Uzpen called for additions, deletions and corrections to the <br />agenda. Upon motion by Councilmember Artig-Swomley, and seconded by Councilmember <br />Rasmussen, the agenda was approved for January 16, 2012. <br />Ayes — 5, Nays — 0. <br />Planning Commission December Meeting Minutes: The Planning Commission did not <br />meet in January to approve the December minutes. This will be tabled until February.. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Newsletter: Councilmember Artig-Swomley discussed articles that she is preparing for the <br />newsletter and stating that she could use additional articles asking the council members for <br />suggestions. <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />None <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Resolution No. 2012 — 1 Appointment Resolution. A resolution appointing individuals and <br />companies to perform certain tasks for the City of Gem Lake. Upon motion by Council <br />member Lindner and seconded by Council Member Artig-Swomley Resolution No. 2012 — 1 <br />passes. Ayes — 5, Nays — 0. <br />
