CITY OF GEM LAKE, MN <br />41 4200 Otter Lake Road _ <br />Gem Lake, MN 55110-3227 <br />Telephone 651-747-2790 <br />E-mail CitvngemiakeMN.org <br />Gem Lake Planning Commission Meeting <br />5 June 2012 <br />The regular meeting of the Planning Commission of Gem Lake was called to <br />order by Chairperson Faith Kuny on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 7:03 p.m. at the <br />Gem Lake City Hall conference room. <br />The following members were present: Chairperson Faith Kuny, and Planning <br />Commissioners Arthur Pratt and Derek Wippich. Commissioners Dan Marier and <br />Beth Herzog were not in attendance. <br />Planning Commission June Agenda: Chairperson Kuny asked for any <br />changes, deletions, or added agenda items. None was given and upon motion <br />by Commissioner Pratt and seconded by Commissioner Wippich; the June 5, <br />2012 agenda was approved. Ayes — 3, Nays — 0. <br />May Planning Commission Minutes: The ,May Planning Commission minutes <br />were reviewed and upon motion by Commissioner Pratt and seconded by <br />Commissioner Wippich, the May Planning Commission minutes were approved. <br />Ayes — 3, Nays — 0. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />None <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />None <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Ordinance No. 125: Chairperson Faith Kuny explained the wordage changes <br />and the Planning Commission held a discussion. Resident Tom Bolfing brought <br />information regarding the Ordinance referring to State of Minnesota guidelines <br />which he gave to the Planning Commission to view. VLAWMO is working with <br />the City of Gem Lake and doing a water study on Gem Lake. Chairperson Kuny <br />stated that VLAWMO designates the rules which are enforced by the City of Gem <br />Lake. <br />
