Gem Lake City Council Meeting <br />Page 3 of 5 <br />Sheriff's Bill: Mayor Uzpen requested a separate invoice for the extra patrol from the <br />Sheriffs Department. <br />Road Repairs: Justin Gese, from SEH looked into the roads owned by the City of Gem <br />Lake. Next year all of Gem Lake roads will require maintenance. The City Council <br />created a reserve account for just this reason. The City Council will not have to budget <br />for this additional maintenance. <br />Claims for July: The claims for July were discussed and authorized to pay. Upon <br />motion by Councilmember Lindner and seconded by Councilmember Artig-Swomley, <br />the claims for July passes. Ayes — 4, Nays — 0. <br />Approval of the Elections Judges for the Fall Election: The City Council viewed the <br />names and upon motion by Councilmember Artig-Swomley, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Lindner, the election judges for the fall election have been approved. <br />Monthly Financial Reports: The City Council received and reviewed the report. <br />PRESENTATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />None <br />OPEN ITEMS FROM THE CITY COUNCIL <br />Councilmember Lindner attended the VLAMWO technical meeting and viewed the maps <br />of the boundaries of RamseyMashington Counties and VLAMWO. <br />Mayor Uzpen stated Tousley Ford or Barnett would be a good pilot project for VLAMWO <br />to use as a pilot for the pollution project. <br />FUTURE COUNCIL MEETINGS <br />Workshop Meeting: August 13, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. <br />City Council Meeting: August 21, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. <br />Look for us on the World Wide Web at gemlakemn.org <br />
