MEMORANDUM <br />Date: January 19, 2010 <br />To: City Council <br />From: Jessie Hart, Treasurer <br />Re: 2010 Fire Contract <br />The City of Gem Lake has received the 2010 fire contract from the City of White <br />Bear Lake for fire services and fire inspection services (fire marshal). The <br />contract and contract formula is the same as it has been in past contracts. The <br />City's 2010 budget included $18,196 for these services and the contract states <br />the City's share of the cost for these services is $17,520, which is a 1.78% <br />decrease from 2009 and $676 less than the 2010 budget. <br />It is staffs recommendation to approve the 2010 fire contract with the City of <br />White Bear Lake for fire and inspection services. <br />
