CITY OF GEM LAKE, MN <br />4200 Otter Lake Road <br />Gem Lake, MN 55110-3227 <br />Telephone 651-747-2790 <br />E-mail .City cr gemlakeMN.org <br />Gem Lake Planning Commission Meeting <br />5 May 2009 <br />The regular meeting of the Planning Commission of Gem Lake was called to <br />order by Chairman Craig Rafferty on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at 7:10 p.m_ in the <br />Gem Lake City Hall meeting room. <br />The following members were present: Chairman. Craig Rafferty, Planning <br />Commission members Derek Wippicli, Beth Herzog, and Dan Marier. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA AND MEETING MINUTES <br />Approval of April Meeting Minutes: Chairman Rafferty stated that minutes <br />from the April. Planning. Commission meeting were not done yet, so could not. be <br />voted ❑ n. <br />Approval of Planning Commission Agenda: Chairman Rafferty stated that the. <br />agenda for this evening was not created, but the Planning Commission meeting <br />would consist of one task to review Gem Lake Gateway District - Section 9. The <br />meeting will start with the Planning Commission's review of yesterday's <br />discussion/review of Section 9 and after that it will be open for public discussion. <br />We'll close that and will discuss any changes that might occur during the <br />meeting. The changes will be discussed at the May 19, 2009 City Council <br />meeting. <br />GEM LAKE GATEWAY DISTRICT — SECTION 9 <br />Chairman Rafferty stated that this is a form based ordinance. <br />Trevor Oliver presented a presentation describing the Gem Lake Gateway <br />District — Section 9 plan. Trevor displayed a map showing the various areas of <br />Gem Lake used for residential and commercial properties. Trevor also had <br />diagrams showing with pictures of the various residential, commercial streets, <br />and parking during the presentation.
