CITY OF GEM LAKE RESOLUTION NO.2000-14 18 December 2000 WHEREAS, The Country Lounge has, applied fot renewal of:a Retail Tobacco Products Resellera License for the period 01 January 2Q01 through 31 December 2001; and WHEREAS, said applicant'has been similarly licensed in :prior years in 1heCity *Oem Lake; and - WHEREAS, said applicant has operated the.establishmentvith only mingr incident during 2:000; and WHEREAS, the State Of Minnesota has enacted legislation, reference Chapter 217 J H.R. 1.17, requirinb local units of government to establish or update local ordinances regulating retail tobacco sales and providingormckstheccost of which shall be born by the licensee -,.and WHEREAS`, the City Council has established.a Tobacco Compliance Ordinance which became effective 28 February 1995.
