CITY OF GEM LAKE <br />RESOLUTION NO. 200045 <br />IS December 2000 <br />WHEREAS, Hoffman Corner Oil leas applied for renewal*of a Retail Tobacco Products.Resellers License for the period 01 <br />January 200.1. through 31 December 2001; .and <br />WHEREAS, .said applicant has been similarly licensed itr prior years in the City of Gem Lake;. and <br />WHEREAS, said applicant has operated the establishment with only .minor incident during 2000; and <br />WHEREAS the State .Of Minnesota has enacted legislation,. reference .Chapter. 227 J H.F. 117, requiring local units -of <br />government to establisli or update local ordinances regulating retail tobacco sales and providing.for compliance checks, the cost <br />of which shall be born by the licensee; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council:has. establialted a Tobacco Carnpliance-Ordinance No. 68 which became effective 23 February <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that.the City' Council of h6 City of Gets .Lake does hereby approve renewal of.tile <br />a RETAIL TOBAC.CO.PRODUCTS RESELLERS LICENSE to Hoffman: Corner Oil- for the period 01:Januaty 2001. through: <br />31 December 2001; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED.Iftat*the City retains the right of revocafion at.any time in the event of violation of State laws <br />or City ordinances regarding the retail sale of tobacco products: <br />ATTEST <br />The foregoing. resolution .was offered by Council Member Igo and supported by Council Member Nielsen and was <br />declared adopted oil a unanimous vote of the CiW.
