CITY OF GEM LAKE <br />RESOLUTION NO..20Q446 <br />07 Septembers 2004. <br />:A. Resolution accepting the bid of Belair Excavating; Inc. Of New Brighton, MN. for <br />construction of Gem Lake Public Improvement Project No. 2004-01 and empowering the <br />Mayor and City Clerk to.enter into contractual agreements for completion of said project <br />subject to review and recommendation of such. contracts. by the .City . Engineer and City <br />Attorney was unanimously approved.. <br />WHEREAS, the Gem Lake City Council approved Public Improvement Project No. .604-0.1 which includes installation of <br />approximately 3. 1.00 feetmunicipal.sanita.ry sewerfrom cotnmetieingat the intersection ofSeheuneman Road and OtterLake Road <br />thence southward to -the south Hillary Farm entrante.and reconstrvctioii of Scheunetman Road from it's intersection with'Otter <br />Lake Road thencesQuttimard to it's intersection with Highway 6I.; and <br />WH CREAS, the City Engineer has, irr accordance with State siatutes,:cornpleted the process of securinb: and analyzing. bids for <br />the work. in accordatt~ce with plans, details and specifications; and <br />WHEREAS, Belair Excavating, Inc'. has been identified by the City. Engineer as the low bidder for.the project in accordance with <br />the published bid documents at a. total price of$501,789.92; NOW THEREFORE BE IT <br />RESOLVED;. that the City Council of the. City of Getn Lake does hereby empower the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into such <br />contracts for the work as are or may be. required by State statutes and wh ich have been approved by. the City Engineer and the City <br />Attorney: <br />'Flit foregoing Resolution waso.ffered by.
