CITY *OF GEM LAKE <br />RESOLUTION NO, 2005-09 <br />20 JUNE 2005 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE CONTRACT <br />Y WITH BE.LAIR EXCAVATING FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A SANITARY <br />SEWER EXTENSION AT SC'HEUNE.MAN ROAD AND <br />RECONSTRUCTION OF SCHE.UNEMAN ROAD. <br />WHEREAS,. Belair -Excavating (hereinafter "Belair") have entered .into a contract with the City ofGem. Lake for the <br />construction ofsinitary sewer and the reconstruction of Scheunetnanload; a city street,.in a project. identified as Public <br />Improvement Project..No. 2004-01 (also referred to elsewhere as "PIP2004-01'` and hereinafter,. "the Project' ; and. <br />WHEREAS, the original contract called for'cornpletion of the Project oti*or before 30.Juitee2005: and <br />WHEREAS,. the original;contract for the project was for art aniourit not to exceed S501,789.92: and <br />WHEREAS, the.6oittractor has incurred certain geo=technical and weather conditions that were unforeseen in the <br />original contract and has requested certain relief related to the contract; atkd. <br />W H EREAS, the City.
