LAKE <br />RESOLUTION NO.2005-22 <br />24 October 2004 <br />A RESOLUTION EMPOWERING THE GEM LAKE CITY :CLERK TO MAKE. <br />APPLICATION TO RAMS.EY COUNTY FOR PARTICIPATION IN FUNDING <br />MADE AVAILABLE AS HEREINAFTER KNOWN AS "SCORE GRANT". <br />WHEREAS, THE City of Gem. Lake currently operates a Mitnicipai.Curbside Recycling Progradi for all single <br />fainily:residences within the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council realizes.that increased public awareness: education and participation in this program <br />is in the best interests of all citizens and wishes to exj}ptid the current program within the administrative guidelines. <br />cstablished for cu"pt City staff; and <br />WRIFREAS, the Division of Solid Waste of the St. Paul -Ramsey County Department of Public Health has made <br />certain hinds available for qualified recycling programs:withih Ramsey County. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council ofthe City b(Gent Lake hereby ompoweirs the <br />City Clerk to. apply annually for any and all.Score. Funding or othe pch.brants as may be made:available.. from. time <br />to time by other agencies for the .sole, purpose .of expanding' -resident patticipation in the Gem Lake.. Municipal <br />Recycling Program; and <br />BE IT FURTHER. RESOLVED, .that said funds shall be used .in $4.a. manner,as recommended by the City's <br />Recycling.
