PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECT W 2004-01, SCH.EUNEMAN ROAD -SEWER, AND ROADWAY RECONSTRUCTION. WHEREAS, the-t emLake City Council orderedPublic-ImpripyIp ent.ProjectNo.2004-01-byP*es.QlufionsNo..2004-05,. 2004-07, 20.04-11 .and 2064-1.2 having held all properly noticed ptibl:ic hearings and having provided all properly published and otherwise delivered notices regardipg.Public Improvement Project:.to affectedproperty owners; and WHEREAS, costs have been determined for Public. Improvement Project: No. 2004-01, and the contract price for said imProvelnents. is S579,239,. and the expenses incurred orYo be, incurred in the making of said improvement which includes every item uf.cost of the improvement from -it's incepEion to. fs*complbd0n and all fees and.expenses incurred or to be incurred1n*c9nnection herewith amount,to $1.79.326so that thp:total cost of the. improvement will be $7581965. Now, Therefore, EW*It RESOLVED. by the City Council of the City of Gem .Lake that: I. The portion of the cost of.said, public improvement to. be paid by the City is: herebyrdeclared to be.S'17.0,*000 and the portion of the cost. to be assessed againstbenefitted property owners is declared to be $588,965- and .2. Assessments.shall be payable. in equal annual installments extending over a period often (10) years, the first of the installments toU payable on or before the first Monday in January, 2006, and shall bear .interest at the rate of five. (5..0%) percent per anntttn froth the date of adoption of the assessment resolution; and. 1 The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City's Codsulting .Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount ta.be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece..or parcel of land ikitliiti the district affected, w.ithoutregard to cash valuation, as -provided by law, and be shall f le a copy ofsuch proposed assessment in his office for public. inspection; and 4. The City Clerk :shall, uponthe completion. ofsuch.proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof.
