CITY 09 GEM -LAKE <br />RESOLUTION NO.2.005-29 <br />16 NOVEMBER 2005- <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE ASSESSMENT ROLE ASPREPARED 13Y THE <br />CITY CLERK FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 2004-01. AND <br />ORDERING SAME FORWARDED TO RAMSEY COUNTY FOR. ASSESSMENT <br />AGAINST ALL. REAL PROPERTY BENEFITTED AND FOR COLLECTION <br />COMMENCING WITH PROPERTY TAXESTAYABLE IN 2006; <br />WHEREAS,:the City Council ofthe City of Gem. Lake did duly order Public Improvement No 2064-0.1 which included <br />the installation of sanitary sewer and the reconstruction ofthe roadway along certain portions of Scheuneman Road; and <br />WHEREAS, said installation and reconstruction have. beencompleted.in accordance with .the contract for the work as <br />certified: vN, the City ]Engineer-. and <br />WHEREA:S,.tlte.tinal..costs have been determined to bo.$68,2S0.1or the roadway reconstruction portion of the project <br />with 78 benefgt 4property.units for.ag assessment of;$$75 per benefitted property unit as assessment R37061000;:and <br />WHEREAS, the fhiaf -co is have been determined to be $517,400 for the sanitary.sewer portion of the project with 65 <br />benefitted property units fox an -assessment. of $7,960 per benefitted property unit as assessment #37062000 and <br />WHEREAS,. the City Council ofthe.City of Gent Lake has held a duly .noticed public hearing for the purpose of <br />presenting the final costs.and assessments to the benefitted parties.and receiving the pubuesInput regarding the project; <br />now therefore; be it <br />RESOLVED; that the City Council ofthe City of Gem Lakedoes-hereby order the City Clerk to. certify the assessments <br />herein described to Ramsey County Property Records -and Revenue for assessment againstreal property as.shown and <br />for collection commencing with taxes. payable ih the year. 2006# and; be it <br />FURTHER RESOLVED that.the term .of the assessment shall beaten (1.0) years and the rate of interest for the <br />assessment shall be set at five (5.0"/0). percent with said interest calculated by Ramsey County Property Recdrds and <br />Revenue as simple interest on the unpaid balance ofthe assessment -as ofNoyember 15 annually.. <br />The foregoing: Resolution was offered'.by Counci for liosak and was supported by Cotin61 gr$djH#fig and was <br />declared ndopterl based upon the following vote; <br />NAME. <br />toBill <br />WATSON <br />RASM JSS.EIY.. <br />S NIl,L' l[NO <br />B� <br />VOTE <br />Aye <br />Aye <br />Aye <br />Aye <br />Aye <br />ATTEST <br />I.
