IN <br />ACCORDANCE WITH THEIR.PROPOSAL. <br />WHEREAS,. the duties of City Clerk.. of the City of Gem Lake have dramatically expanded -over the: last. fifteenyears <br />to include .significant additional responsibility; and. <br />WI-IEREAS, the City Clerk has. over finte.-performed many of these duties with only minor consideration of <br />conipensation; and <br />WHEREAS, the:requirements of the City have.chanbed and grown to include admill istrzttive and other setwtces beyond <br />the.,origioai scope of the City .Clerk's responsi�iIities. and <br />WHEREAS; Magnuson &.Ass.oci4tes,1LC has effectively provided and ormanaged theCity's needed administrative <br />and other services since_1999. <br />NOW THEREFORE BRIT RESOLVED.: that the CityCouncil ofthe, .Cityof Gem Lake hereby appoints Magnuson <br />& Associates; LLC. as an independent contractor to provide additional Municipal Management and Administrative <br />Services as Contract Administrator during the period 01 January 2006 through 31.
