The updated plan must be <br />submitted to the Metropolitan Council by December 31, 2028. <br /> <br />This update will provide the City with a guidance document for future planning within the City in <br />accordance with the Met Council’s guidelines. This letter supplements the Agreement for Professional <br />Services between the City of Gem Lake, Minnesota (Owner), and Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. (SEH®) <br />(Consultant), for providing professional services. <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />We understand the project to consist of updating the “technical” chapters of the 2050 Comprehensive <br />Plan. Additionally, the goal of the project will be to update these chapters to meet the requirements and <br />projections outlined in the City’s System Statement provided by the Metropolitan Council. Technical <br />chapters include: <br /> <br />• Transportation <br />• Water Resources <br />o Wastewater <br />o Water Supply <br />o Surface Water Management <br />• Implementation (SEH scope will focus on implementation actions for the above technical <br />chapters) <br /> <br />Based on the discussions with both the City Council and Planning Commission, our scope for this <br />proposal includes the following work tasks: <br /> <br />Task 1: Project Management, Administration, and Meetings <br />SEH project manager, Mark Nolan, AICP, will work with the SEH team to complete all aspects of this <br />project to the City of Gem Lake’s satisfaction. Mark will be responsible for tracking the budget and <br />progress of the Comprehensive Plan Chapter Update, as well as providing quality checks throughout the <br />project duration. SEH has included virtual bi-weekly virtual half-hour conference calls with the City’s <br />project manager for the duration of the project. <br /> <br />Task 1 Deliverables: Meeting agendas and minutes, monthly invoices, progress reports
