PAUL, MINNESOTA 55102-1657 <br />TOM FOLEY <br />County Attorney <br />August 17, 1994 <br />Frederic Magnuson <br />Clerk City of Gem Lake <br />1369 County Road E East <br />Gem Lake, Minnesota 55110 <br />Dear Mr. Magnuson: <br />On June 21, 1994, you executed a cooperation agreement <br />between the City of Gem Lake and the Ramsey County Housing and <br />Redevelopment Authority to enable Ramsey County and Gem Lake to <br />participate in the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development's <br />Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment <br />Partnership Act (HOME) programs. <br />Regional counsel at the area HUD office requires that with <br />each community's agreement be supported by a copy of the city <br />council resolution authorizing its execution, or a certified copy <br />of the minutes of the council meeting at which execution was <br />authorized, or an opinion from the city's legal counsel <br />authorizing its execution. <br />This is the one remaining missing piece of documentation <br />for all of Ramsey County to complete the approval process for the <br />next three year period. Please forward one of the above <br />mentioned documents to Judy Karon, Director of Community and <br />Economic Development as quickly as possible.
