A response to White Bear Lake will be generated once the new figures are available. Legal questions. Several legal questions that have come up related to the JPA will be directed to BWSR first. Answers we cannot get from them may be direct to the VLAWMO counsel afterward. These questions include: Can the SPRWS be part of the JPA, legally? It was noted that they enter into other JPA's. Can we tax Shoreview if they have no seat on the Board and do not sign the JPA? What does statute say on voting to approve a budget? How many must approve a budget? Office Space Update— the Board expressed support for updating the office. They would like more information. Mark Bigelbach provides office systems and will provide another bid on the office furniture. Mark Burch requested more information on commercial rates and options in the other member cities. Maintenance. Mark Bigelbach will work on identifying the elements that need to be done, who the partners might be and what it will cost. Summer intern. There were no volunteers to help with this project. Staff will provide more information at the next meeting. Commissioner reports.
