CITY OF GEM LAKE <br />RESOLUTION NO.2006-05 <br />21 February 2006 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION IN <br />THE COST SHARING OF CONSULTANT SERVICES TO <br />THE ONGOING 1-35E CORRIDOR MANAGEMENT <br />STUDY. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Gem Lake has partially funded and participated in the multi jurisdictional study of the I-35E <br />Corridor: and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Gem Lake has committed to continue participation as a member in the I-35E Corridor <br />Management Team; and <br />WHEREAS, the Corridor Management Team will continue to coordinate the ongoing balance of land use and <br />transportation within the I-35E Corridor; and <br />WHEREAS, continued consultant services will be required to assist the Corridor Management Team; and <br />WHEREAS, SEH, Inc. has prepared a scope of services to provide such assistance at a cost to the members in 2004 not <br />to exceed $4,500 for budgeted operations: and <br />WHEREAS, the Corridor Management Team has proposed cost sharing contributions from the participating local units <br />of government as follows: the city of Vadnais Heights @ 25.0%; the City of White Bear Lake@ 25.0%; White Bear <br />Township at 25.0%; North Oaks @ 18.0%; and Gem Lake @ 7.0%; and <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Department of Transportation, Ramsey County and the Metropolitan Council have agreed to <br />provide in -kind planning and technical services and project coordination through the course of study. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Gem Lake agrees to contribute funding <br />an amount not to exceed $562.50 for consultant services from SEH, Inc. for the ongoing I-35E Corridor Management <br />study. <br />The foregoing Resolution was offered by Councilor Watson and was supported by Councilor Rasmussen and <br />i1 P1nrPr1 ndnn/od haceri unnn the fnllnwing vote: <br />NAME <br />EMEOTT <br />WATSON <br />BOSAK <br />SCHILLING <br />RASMUSSEN <br />VOTE <br />Aye <br />Aye <br />Absent <br />Absent <br />Aye <br />ATTEST <br />I, Frederic C.
