SEP-12-94 MON 15:16 CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />FAX Na 484 4538 F, 03 <br />RECEIVED AUS 2 6 19 4 <br />MINUTES OF A MEETING dF THE aURISDICTIONS <br />WHICH CONTRACT WITH RAMSEY COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT <br />FOR POLICE SERVICES <br />August ,8, 1994 <br />++++++++++++++ `+++++++++++++.. +++++++ +++++` ++++++++++++++++++++ <br />Joel Hanson, Chair, called the meeting to order at 7;35 a.m. The <br />following members were present; <br />- Jerry Eergeron, Commander, Ramsey County Sheriff's Department <br />- Dick Darnbusch, Lieutenant, Ramsey County Sheriff's Department <br />• Bill Ecklund, City of North Oaks <br />Joel Hanson, City of Little Canada <br />- Dorothy Person, City of Arden Hills <br />- Jan Reagan, White Bear Township <br />- Mike Shanley, Lieutenant, Ramsey County Sheriff's Department <br />- Terry Schwerrn, City of Shoreview <br />- Bill Short, White Bear Township <br />Gerry Urban, City of Vadnais Heights <br />APPRavAL of MINUTES <br />The Minutes of July 21, 1994, were approved as submitted. <br />AN/NMI CONTROL SERVICES, INC. <br />Rick Ruzicka, President, ACSI, stated that he will begin call <br />out service on October lst, and patrol service on Monday, October <br />3► 1994. He requested permission to link into the Sheriff's <br />radio frequency. Commander Bergeron directed him to contact Gary <br />Kollman, Communications Supervisor, to work out the details. <br />Mr. Ruzicka requested that each community provide current <br />licensing information, including dog tag numbers, owners and <br />addresses, and that this list be updated quarterly. <br />The Group asked Mr. Ruaicka to submit written details with regard <br />to his operation, including kennel hours and the procedure to <br />handle calls for service. It was suggested that the communities <br />prepare press releases upon receipt of this information. <br />CONTRACT REVISIONS - INSURANCE <br />Georgie Schulte, Ramsey County Risk management, explained that <br />the County has requested that each community adopt a uniform <br />amendment to the Law Enforcement Services Agreement. She also <br />noted that Paragraph 11.6 needs revision. The Group agreed to <br />adopt the uniform arr:endrnent, as presented, with the following <br />changes: page one, paragraph Ti.;5last line - strike the word <br />"if"; page two, strike the entire first line, and part on the <br />second line, adding '"incurred during the tern of this Law <br />Enforcement Services Contract, and assessed against the County". <br />1 <br />
