She requested that the executed documents be provided to her as soon as possible, as she will present them to the County Board. on September 13th. CONTRACT REVISIONS The Group discussed the idea of extending the length of the contract to three years. Shoreview intends to request their Attorney to review the contract and suggest options / modifications. Hopefully, these suggestions will be available for review at September/s meeting. NEISANCU ORDINANCE Commander Bergeron requested that this item be tabled until next month. SMART VM UPDATE Commander Bergeron reported that the SMART Unit is being used almost every day. Lt. Shanley noted that there had been a period of approximately 5 weeks that it was not in service, The Group requested that a quarterly log sheet be provided to them, including the street, community, date, and if possible, an indication if it was requested by a particular community. It is their desire that the Unit be used on a regular basis. OTHER MASERS Commander Bergeron reported that the City of Centerville has requested a proposal far police services. The Group agreed that the request for proposal should be declined due to logistical concerns. Lt. Shanley requested clarification with regard to the Government Innovation & Cooperation Grant. The Group directed him to Complete the pre -application for a Community Service Officer Position - 182 days, B hours / day, (1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.), a smaller type vehicle, 10-speed bicycles, radio equipment, uniforms and training. The meeting adjourned at 9:30 a.in. The next meeting is scheduled far 7:30 a.m., September 15 , 1994, at the North Oaks Country Club.
