Rice Street <br />Shoreview, MN 55126 <br />(612) 484-9104 • Fax 482-5232 <br />A municipal representatives meeting was held Tuesday, July 12, 1994, at the Roseville <br />City Hall to discuss turnback options and legislation associated with the Functional <br />Consolidation of Roadways in Ramsey County. <br />Enclosed for your information is a copy of the four turnback options proposed by the <br />County to accomplish the roadway jurisdiction transfers recommended by the Ramsey County <br />Local Government Services Study Commission in its 1992 report on Functional <br />Consolidation. <br />Also enclosed is a turnback list prepared by Ramsey County showing the funding <br />alternatives of the various turnback options for each local unit of government. Ramsey <br />County is asking each local unit of government to select a funding alternative for each <br />turnback route and to select a year, within the next ten years, for the improvement to <br />occur. The County has scheduled a meeting for THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 1994, 10:00 A.M., <br />ROSEVILLE CITY HALL, to meet with the local units of government and develop a ten year <br />schedule of all the County/Local turnbacks. All of the turnbacks are to be funded with <br />County bond funds on a first come first served basis. <br />It is important that each local unit of government be represented at the September 22, <br />1994, meeting. The outcome of the meeting will determine the plan and the process to <br />accomplish all County/Municipal turnbacks over the next ten years. An agenda for the <br />September 22, meeting will be mailed to you prior to the meeting.
