Name or Type of BMP: Regulatory program to prohibit non -storm water discharges into the MS4. <br />C. BMP Description: Identify and begin review of all City ordinances to determine if they meet the requirements of the NPDES permit program <br />and make revisions as necessary, Determine if current state, county or WMO regulatory mechanisms are sufficient to cover this BMP. Identify <br />additional local controls that may be necessary to meet the requirements of the NPDES permit program and begin development as necessary. <br />D. Minimum Control Measure Addressed: Illicit Discharge Detection & Elimination <br />E. Describe the measurable that will be used to determine success or benefits of this BMP: <br />1. Complete review of City, state, county and WMO ordinances and regulatory mechanisms to determine needs for change to and addition <br />of regulatory controls for implementation by 10 March 2006. <br />2. If needed: <br />a. Complete background and draft ordinance structure by 10 March 2006; and <br />b. Begin formal ordinance development process by 10 March 2006; and <br />C. In February, 2004 Mayor Emeott and Clerk Magnuson enrolled in seminars including an Ordinance Development Seminar scheduled <br />in March, 2004. <br />b. In February, 2004 the City Engineer began reviewing City ordinances and regulatory mechanisms to begin determination of whether <br />established ordinances meet the requirements of the NPDES permit program. <br />C.
