CITY OF GEM LAKE <br />NPDES - MS4 SWPPP <br />SMP DESCRIPTION SHEET <br />A. Unique Identification Number: 5-02-R <br />B. Name or Type of BMP: Post -Construction Runoff Control Ordinance <br />C. BMP Description: The City's Cooperative Agreement with the Vadnais Lake Area Water Management Organization (VLAWMO) and the <br />Ramsey Washington Metro Watershed District (RWMWD) allows for additional water quality controls to be considered. The City will work <br />with the WMO's to ensure compliance with their Plan requirements and to support the inspection and enforcement process. In addition, the City <br />will continue to promote the BMP's described in the WMO's rules and standards. <br />D. Minimum Control Measure Addressed: Post -Construction Storm Water Management <br />E. Describe the measurable that will be used to determine success or benefits of this BMP: <br />1. Implement existing water quality review program and coordinate measurable goals with BMP 4-04-R (Development Plan Review Process). <br />2. Report changes in the VLAWMO and RWMWD Plans. <br />F. Describe the timeline or implementation schedule for this BMP: <br />1. Continue ongoing administration of existing ordinances and controls. <br />2. EDUCATION PROGRAM / PUBLIC OUTREACH COMPONENT <br />a. Audience(s): Any resident, contractor, City staff, business or state or public agency conducting land disturbance or construction <br />activities in the City should identify with the basic goal of the MS4 program - to reduce sediment and other material discharges to <br />City waters from construction sites and to seek awareness of erosion control practices, site clean-up requirements and how they work <br />to protect water quality when properly installed and maintained. <br />G.
