The City will continue to contract street sweeping for vehicle safety, pedestrian safety, water quality and environmental <br />reasons. Strcct sweeping will be done as weather permits in the spring and fall. <br />D. Minimum Control Measure Addressed: Pollution Prevention / Good Housekeeping for Municipal Operations. <br />E. Describe the measurable that will be used to determine success or benefits of this BMP: <br />1. Sweep at least once in the spring of the year. <br />2. Sweep once in the fall as weather permits. <br />3. Count and record the approximate number of miles swept annually. <br />4. Count and record the dates of sweeping, man-hours and general areas swept <br />5. Estimate the amount (volume or weight) of debris collected. <br />6. Identify all depositories of sweeping materials collected. <br />F. Describe the timeline or implementation schedule for this BMP: <br />1. Continue ongoing annual street sweeping program. <br />2. Coordinate data base tracking system with BMP 6-05-R. <br />3. EDUCATION PROGRAM / PUBLIC OUTREACH COMPONENT <br />a. Audience(s): All City residents and business groups. <br />b.
