The paved paths within the square shall be distinguishable from surrounding sidewalks and streets by choice of materials and design. Improvements such as fountains, pergolas, band - shells, hiosls and pedestrian amenities such as bench- es may be installed within the square. Buildings adjacent to or across the street from the square shall treat the square (or street shared with the square) as the buildings primary frontage.
