Resolution Board of Ramsey County Commissioners Presented By Commissioner McDonough _ Date September 26, 2006 No. 2 0 0 6 -315 Attention: Budgeting and Accounting Ken Haider, Public Works Page 2 of 3 City of Gem Lake WHEREAS, The City of Gem Lake desires to reconstruct both Scheuneman Road from County Road E to Trunk Highway 61 and Hoffman Road from Trunk Highway 61 to County Road E and fund the reconstruction projects with Municipal sources, and up to $70,126 from Capital Improvement Funds for Ramsey County Roadway Consolidation; and WHEREAS, The City of Gem Lake has agreed that by accepting these jurisdictional transfers and receipt of up to $70,126 for the reconstruction of these segments of Scheuneman Road and Hoffman Road from Capital Improvement Funds for Ramsey County Roadway Consolidation that Ramsey County has fully discharged its obligations to the City arising under Minnesota Statutes §§163.11 and 383A.16 and the Functional Consolidation Plan, and that it has no expectation of funding of the ongoing maintenance of these segments by Ramsey County; Now, Therefore, Be It RESOLVED, The Ramsey County Board of Commissioners hereby revokes the "County Road" status of Scheuneman Road (County Road 147) from County Road E to Trunk Highway 61, and Hoffman Road (County Road 146) from Trunk Highway 61 to County Road E and transfers jurisdiction over these roadways to the City of Gem Lake, effective after the Ramsey County Office of Budgeting and Accounting has encumbered the funds necessary to fund the reconstruction projects; and Be It Further RESOLVED, The County shall transfer its interest in the public road right-of-way and road easements to the City for the delineated roadways it currently holds; and Be It Further RAMSEY COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS YEA NAY OTHER my Bennett i Carter lirri McDonough Rafael Ortega Jan Parker Victoria Reinhardt Janice Rettman Tony Bennett, Chair (Continued) By Bonnie C.
