Road <br />Gem Lake, MN 55110-3227 <br />Telephone 651.747-2790 <br />E-mail City(a?gemlakeMN.org <br />Minutes of Gem Lake City Council Meeting <br />15 March 2011 <br />The regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Gem Lake was called to order by <br />Mayor Uzpen on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 7:00 pm in the Gem Lake City Hall <br />meeting room. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Robert Uzpen, Councilmembers James <br />Lindner, Gretchen Artig-Swomley, Richard Bosak and Thomas Rasmussen. Members <br />of the public attending per the sign in sheet sent around the room. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA AND MEETING MINUTES <br />City Council Agenda: Mayor Uzpen called for additions, deletions and corrections to <br />the agenda. Upon motion by Councilmember Artig-Swomley, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Rasmussen, the agenda was approved for March 15, 2011..Ayes — 5, <br />Nays — 0. <br />City Council January Meeting Minutes: The January, 2011 minutes were presented <br />and corrections were needed. Upon motion by Councilmember Artig-Swomley, and <br />seconded by Councilmember Lindner, the minutes of the January 2011 were accepted <br />with corrections being made. Ayes — 5, Nays— 0. <br />City Council February Meeting Minutes: The February, 2011 minutes were. <br />presented and corrections were needed. Upon motion by Councilmember Bosak, and. <br />seconded by Councilmember Rasmussen, the minutes of the February 2011.were <br />accepted with corrections being made. Ayes — 5, Nays— 0. <br />Planning Commission February Meeting Minutes: There was not a Planning. <br />Commission meeting in February. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Newsletter: Councilmember Artig-Swomley handed out a draft copy of the March <br />newsletter to the City Council members and would like feedback from the council <br />members. Mayor Uzpen received a letter in the mail from the Ramsey County Sherriff <br />department regarding animal control community service laws to replace the previous <br />animal control company. They sent a proposal to the City of Gem Lake, which will be a <br />separate cost to the City. The total cost is $76,367, which will be divided between the <br />
