CITY OF GEM LAKE, MN <br />4200 Otter Lake Road <br />Gem Lake, MN 55110-3227 <br />Telephone 651-747�2790 <br />E-mail Citv(i gcmlakeMN.org <br />Minutes of Gem Lake City Council Meeting <br />21 February 2012 <br />The regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Gem Lake was called to order by <br />Councilmember Artig-Swomley on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 7:01 pm in the Gem <br />Lake City Hall meeting room. <br />The following members were present: Councilmembers James Lindner, Gretchen Artig- <br />Swomley, Richard Bosak and Thomas Rasmussen. Mayor Uzpen was absent. <br />Members of the public attending per the sign in sheet sent around the room. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA AND MEETING MINUTES <br />City Council Agenda: Councilmember Artig-Swomley called for additions, deletions <br />and corrections to the agenda. Upon motion by Councilmember Lindner, and seconded <br />by Councilmember Rasmussen, the agenda was approved for February 21, 2012. <br />Ayes — 4, Nays — 0. <br />City Council January Meeting Minutes: The January 2012 minutes were presented. <br />and corrections were needed. Upon motion by Councilmember Bosak, and seconded <br />by Councilmember. Lindner, the minutes of January 2012 were accepted with <br />corrections being made. Ayes —4, Nays — 0. <br />Planning Commission December Meeting Minutes The Planning Commission <br />December minutes was presented and corrections were needed. Upon motion by <br />Councilmember Lindner, and seconded by Councilmember Bosak, the December <br />Planning Commission minutes were accepted. Ayes — 4, Nays — 0. <br />Planning Commission Chair Report: Chairperson Faith Kuny reported to the City <br />Council that the Planning Commission would like copies of the Zoning Ordinance and <br />Gateway Ordinance to have and review should any questions arise from the public, they <br />would have documentation of the Ordinance. Councilmember Artig-Swomley wanted <br />to know what topics of discussions were planned for the March Planning Commission <br />meeting. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Newsletter: Councilmember Artig-Swomley stated she is trying to get information from <br />Waste Management regarding recycling in the City of Gem Lake.
