City of Gem Lake City Council Meeting minutes, December 20, 2016 Page 1 <br /> <br />City of Gem Lake <br /> City Council Meeting – December 20, 2016 <br />Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Mayor Uzpen called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. Councilmembers Artig-Swomley, Bosak, Kuny and <br />Lindner were present. Others in attendance: Ben Johnson, Planning Commission Chair, Patrick Kelly, <br />City Attorney, Paul Emeott, Nate Fair, Landmark Development/Hanson Builders, Justin Gese, City <br />Engineer, Andy Gitzloff, Ramsey County Regional Rail, Tom Hansen, Alejandro Lopez and Alejandro Ruiz, <br />High Tech Auto, <br /> <br />December 20, 2016, Agenda <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Artig-Swomley, seconded by Councilmember Bosak to approve <br />the agenda for December 20, 2016, motion passed. Agenda approved. <br /> <br />Minutes <br />Councilmember Artig-Swomley made a motion, seconded by Councilmember Lindner to approve the <br />minutes for November 15, 2016, motion passed. Minutes approved. <br /> <br />Committee Reports <br />None <br /> <br />Old Business <br />Newsletter ideas – Goals for 2017, accomplishments of 2016, comp plan update, Rush Line, White Bear <br />Lake Food Shelf donation and drop off box, wedding at the Daniels Estate. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br />None <br /> <br />New Business <br /> <br />Resolution 2016-19 – Donation to White Bear Lake Food Shelf <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Artig-Swomley, seconded by Councilmember Lindner to approve <br />Resolution 2016-19 donation to the White Bear Lake Food bank. Motion passed. Resolution approved. <br /> <br />High Tech Auto CUP Renewal <br />A condition of High Tech Auto’s conditional use permit is that High Tech apply yearly to renew their CUP. <br />No concerns or complaints have come in regards to High Tech Auto. Councilmember Lindner made a <br />motion to renew High Tech Auto’s CUP for 2017, Councilmember Bosak seconded, Motion passed. High <br />Tech Auto Conditional Use Permit was approved for 2017. <br /> <br />Rush Line, Andy Gitzloff, Ramsey County Regional Rail <br />Mr. Gitzloff updated the Council on progress on the Rush Line Pre-Project Development Study. Citizens <br />who wish to provide input should do so one of Rush Line’s social media sites, twitter, facebook, <br />www.rushline.org or 651 266-2760. <br /> <br />
