Citya,gemlakeMN.org <br />Minutes of Gem Lake City Council Meeting <br />21 December 2010 <br />The regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Gem Lake was called to order by <br />Mayor Uzpen on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 7:01 pm in the Gem Lake City Hall <br />meeting room. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Robert Uzpen, Councilmembers James <br />Lindner, Gretchen Artig-Swomley, Richard Bosak and Thomas Rasmussen. Members <br />of the public attending per the sign in sheet sent around the room. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA AND MEETING MINUTES <br />City Council Agenda: Mayor Uzpen called for additions, deletions and corrections to <br />the agenda. Upon motion by Councilmember Lindner, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Bosak, the agenda was approved for December 21, 2010. Ayes — 5, <br />Nays — 0. <br />City Council November Meeting Minutes: The November 2010 minutes were not <br />received by all council members, so will look at them at the January, 2011 meeting. <br />Planning Commission November Meeting Minutes: There was no Planning <br />Commission meeting in November 2010. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Newsletter: Councilmember Artig-Swomley started on the January newsletter and is <br />doing an article on Hillary Farms with diagrams and an article on the tree clearing on <br />Goose Lake Road and Big Fax Road. Also doing an article on T.A. Schifsky's & Sons, <br />Inc., explaining what is plowed first after a snowfall. The council received calls about <br />who is plowed out first when there is a storm. Also an article on accomplishments in <br />2010, for the City of Gem Lake. <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />Ordinance 121: Mayor Uzpen asked the council if there were any questions or <br />comments regarding this ordinance, which covers the use of wind towers in Gem Lake. <br />Public Hearing opened at 7:16 p.m. <br />
