7 /. f ;).- Extract of Minutes of Meeting of City Council City of Roseville Ramsey County, Minnesota March 14, 1983 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, March 14, 1983, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Acting Mayor Johnson and Councilmen Kehr and Franke (Mayor Demos arrived at 8:10 p.m.); and the following was absent: Councilman Curley. Also present were James F. Andre, City Manager; Charles Honchell, City Public Works Director; Doug Strong, City Public Works Department; Robert Bell of Peterson, Bell & Converse, City Attorney; and Peter S. Popovich of Peterson, Popovich, Knutson & Flynn, City Bond Consultant. ACTING MAYOR JOHNSON: The next project is P-82-29, Chatsworth Street between Brooks Avenue and Transit Avenue. MR. ANDRE: We have the certificate of ~ailing and affidavit of publication for this project on file. MR. HONCHELL: This project was petitioned for by 71% of the people. The existing road is approximately 28 feet wide, in fair to poor condition, with grades of approxi- mately 1% to 8%. The yards ,along the road are somewhat higher than the roadway. The driveways vary greatly - they go from almost a flat driveway in one case to almost a 16% grade in others. The roadway, as proposed, would again be the sfandard 32 feet wide, seven ton asphalt road with concrete curb and gutter. The City is considering the possib~lity of adjusting the elevations of the road slightly to better match the yards and to minimize the grades on the roadway. I might also say that there are many trees along varibus of these streets, but there is only one tree in all of the hearings tonight that we think will be impacted and it isn't on this street.
