months, but it does mean that - it takes the contr~ctor that
long to complete the several projects that he's working on. We
would include this project with some others and he might start
on your street and get done sooner on yours, or he may start
on your street last. As a matter of fact, the way we are con-
sidering it right now at least, is although Skillman would be
included with some other projects if it's passed, we very
likely would have the contractor actually disrupt this street
last in its order so that it could be the first to be put back
together. It's not that we like you that much more than the
other people, it just sort of fits the scheduling better.
During that time, we give instructions to our contractor to
keep the road open so that people can get to and from their
homes. This even means going in and out to their driveways and
their garages for all but that period when he's working directly
in front of your house or the concrete curb and gutter is
having to sit up and gain strength. There will be several
days there when we won't want you driving over the new curb
because you'll crack it up. But that's really a very short
time. I don't want to dismay anyone - thinking you're going to
have to go through the whole summer - but by another token, I
don't want you to think this is all going to be finished in
front of your homes in three to five days or something. It
simply isn't done in that kind of speed either.

ACTING MAYOR JOHNSON: Any other comments, questions or
statements? Skillman between Pascal and Hamline. I will
close the hearing.

Councilman Kehr then introduced the following resolution

and moved its adoption:

Resolution No. 7485

RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION
OF IMPROVEMENT NO.
