understand that they were to vote on this. We thought it was
kind of an automatic deal that if Farrington was taken care of,
that would be done on Iona. That's why Craig was not petitioned.

MR. CRAIG BARKER: I'd be glad to let you pay for it.

ACTING MAYOR JOHNSON: Let me ask - on Craig's property -
are we talking about 10% of that side lot?

MR. HONCHELL: That's correct - 13.3 assessable feet.

ACTING MAYOR JOHNSON: Thirteen feet would be the assessment
on that.

MR. DONOVAN HENDRICKSON: On these curbs and gutters and
on your driveways - how far does the concrete go from the curb
and gutter into your property?

MR. HONCHELL: It really depends on the circumstances.
If the grade would stay identical to what it is today, routinely
we would go to the first joint in your concrete driv~way. As
I understood you, you said you had a concrete drive.

MR. HENDRICKSON: How far do you put the concrete in

MR. HONCHELL: That's what I'm saying. Routinely it would
go maybe ten feet or something - wherever the first existing
joint is - so we don't have to cut your concrete.

MR. HENDRICKSON: I have concrete right up to where the
curbing would be.

MR. HONCHELL: We'd go back to the next joint then -
routinely - or to the property line area.

MR. HENDRICKSON: Who would be responsible for taking
that out?

MR. HONCHELL: The contractor that the City would hire -
it would be part of the project cost - the overall cost.

MR. HENDRICKSON: Do you have any idea how he would take
that concrete? Would he have to cut that?

MR. HONCHELL: As I indicated, routinely - there are
generally joints in the concrete very ten or twelve feet or
so. We.would usually go to one of those joints. If there's
no joint in a reasonable location, then we'd have to take a
saw and saw a new joint along there and then move it to there.

ACTING MAYOR JOHNSON: Any other comments on Farrington?
Does anyone else have any comments or questions? If not, I
will close this hearing.

-6-
