Andre, City Manager; Charles

Honchell, City Public Works Director; Doug Strong, City Public

Works Department; Robert Bell of Peterson, Bell & Converse,

City Attorney; and Peter S. Popovich of Peterson, Popovich,

Knutson & Flynn, City Bond Consultant.

ACTING MAYOR JOHNSON: We will now go to project P-82-32,
Matilda Street from County Road C-2 to.lona Lane and Iona Lane
from Matilda Street to Farrington Street.

MR. ANDRE: We have the certificate of mailing and
affidavit of publication for this project on file.

MR. HONCHELL: This project was petitioned for by 76%
of the property owners. The existing width is again approxi-
mately 29 feet. The pavement is in fair condition and has
good grades. It does have some driveway problems. Some of
the driveways have grades of up to 15% - very steep - and
some don't conform to the existing standards. The yards are
again somewhat higher than the existing pavement. Again,
the 32 foot standard roadway is proposed. There may be some
adjusting of the existing grades - making it a few inches
higher - to better meet the yards and to try and help a little
bit on the driveway steep grade problems.

MR. POPOVICH: Mayor and members of the Council, the
total estimated cost is $117,048.69. If it was 100% assessed,
