August 9, 2011 Generic timeline for 3`d Generation Plan Approval June 7,2011- GLWMO Board approves submitting the revised May 2011 Draft Watershed Management for the 60 day review period June 13, 2011- Melissa Lewis of BWSR establishes August 15, 2011 as the end of the 60 day review period July I, 2011- State Agencies are shut -down July 21, 2011- BWSR staff report back to work July 22,2011- Melissa Lewis of BWSR suggest that the GLWMO extend the 60 day review period to September 15, 2011 because of the State agency shut -down July 22, 2011- GLWMO Board Chair Eckman, in consultation with Tom Petersen, Camilla Correll, and Melissa Lewis establish the new deadline for the 60 day review period to be September ? ? ? ? ? ?- The GLWMO Board must hold a special meeting to formally approve written responses to all comments received during the 60 day review period ? ? ? ? ? ?- The GLWMO Board must hold a Public Hearing "no sooner than 14 days after the close of the 60 day review period" and" respond in writing to comments received during the 60 day review period at least 10 days before the Public Hearing ". Note: the Public hearing must be advertized in the official newspaper of the GLWMO 14 and 7 days before the Public hearing ? ? ? ? ?- After the Public Hearing, final revisions to the Plan are made and approved by the Board, "the final draft Plan and a summary of the revisions, and all comments and record of the Public Hearing are sent to BWSR, DNR, MPCA, MDA, Metro council, and local entities, if desired for final review" Note: local entities is not defined by BWSR. ? ? ? ? ? ?- BWSR has 90 days to complete and approve or disapprove all or parts of the Plan. ? ? ? ?- Within 120 days of BWSR approval of the Plan, the GLWMO must adopt the Pfan.
