The City Manager shall prepare and cause to be inserted <br />in the Roseville Sun, the official paper, and in the Construction <br />Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such <br />approved plans and specifications. The advertisement for <br />Improvement No. SS-W-P-84-18 shall be published as required by <br />law, shall specify the work to be done, shall call for bids on <br />the basis of a cash payment for such work, shall state the bids <br />will be received by the City Manager and Public Works Director <br />until 10:00 o'clock a.m. on August 9, 1984, at which time they <br />will be publicly opened in the City Hall by the City Manager and <br />City Public Works Director, will then be tabulated, and will sub- <br />sequently be considered by the Council, and that no bids will be <br />considered unless sealed and filed with the Manager and accom- <br />panied by a cash deposit, certified check or bid bond payable to <br />the Manager for ten percent of the ,amount of such bid. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br /> <br />duly.seconded by Councilmember Curley and\upon vote being taken <br /> <br />thereon, the fOllowing voted in favor: All present; and the <br /> <br />following voted against: None; whereupon said resolution was <br /> <br />declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
