<br />Councilmember Demos introduced the following <br />resolution, the reading of which was dispensed with by unanimous <br />consent, and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7626 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ESTAB- <br />LISHMENT BY THE CITY OF A MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT <br />DISTRICT, THE ADOPTION OF THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br />PROGRN1 THEREFOR, THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A TAX INCRE- <br />!1ENT FINANCING DISTRICT AND THE PROPOSED ADOPTION <br />OF A TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN THEREFOR <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council (the "Council") <br />of the City of Roseville, Minnesota (the "City"), as follows: <br /> <br />1. This Council shall meet on September 10, 1984, <br />at approximately 7:00 P.M., to hold a public hearing on the <br />following matters: (a) the proposed establishment of a Mun- <br />icipal Development District in the City, (b) the proposed <br />adoption of a Development Program therefor, (c) the proposed <br />establishment of a Tax Increment Financing District within <br />the proposed Development District, and (d) the adoption of <br />the proposed Tax Increment Financing Plan therefor, all pursuant <br />to and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 472A, <br />as amended, and Minnesota Statutes, Sections 273.71 to 273.78, <br />inclusive, as amended. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is authorized and directed to cause <br />notice of the hearing, substantially in the form attached hereto <br />as Exhibit A, to be given as required by law, to place a copy of <br />the Proposed Development Program and the Proposed Tax Increment <br />Financing Plan on file in the City Manager's office at the <br />City Hall and to make such copies available for inspection by the <br />public no later than October 31, 1934. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution <br />was duly seconded by Councilmember Kehr ' and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />All present. <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declard duly passed and adopted <br />by the City Council seville, Minnesota on <br />July 23, 1984. <br /> <br /> <br />A;-,rfsrr: ;/ <br />\ I ' <br />". :A-'/'J'U. .}, - . /Sfr-'i..' &2" J <br />~,~ _.../ _'.
